Brainerd 21, Alexandria 14
The Brainerd Warriors beat the Alexandria Cardinals 21–14 on Wednesday, Oct. 14, at Adamson Field in Brainerd. The Brainerd Dispatch and MaxPreps both report the final, along with Brainerd improving to 6–1 and Alexandria falling to 4–3 overall and 3–1 in conference play. The Warriors had dropped a road game at Monticello the Friday before.
Next: Brainerd hosts Spring Lake Park on Wednesday, Oct. 21, to close the regular season. Published kickoff times for that game don’t match between sources yet, so check the team schedule before you head out.
Pequot Lakes 45, Two Harbors 6
The Pequot Lakes Patriots won 45–6 at Two Harbors on Wednesday. According to both the Brainerd Dispatch and the Star Tribune Varsity scoring summary, Griffen Hannah ran for two touchdowns, Trevor Holmberg scored twice on 1-yard runs, Jobey Tvedt added a 6-yard touchdown run, and Eli Martini threw touchdown passes to Vince Kratochvil (8 yards) and Wyatt Huser (12 yards). Two Harbors’ only points came in the third quarter. The win moves Pequot Lakes to 5–2.

CLC volleyball wins at Gogebic
Central Lakes College beat Gogebic Community College 3–2 on Wednesday in Ironwood, Mich. The Raiders are now 12–9 and have won three straight, according to the CLC athletics schedule and the Brainerd Dispatch.
Next: CLC plays in the Dig Pink Triangular in Worthington on Friday, Oct. 16, opening against Minnesota West at 3 p.m. before facing Western Iowa Tech.
CLC football at NDSCS on Saturday
The CLC Raiders football team plays at North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton, N.D., at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, as listed on both schools’ athletics schedules.
